The Clinton Post is the school newspaper for The Clinton School for Writers and Artists middle and high school. We cover a broad range of topics, including events, ideas, and new Clinton developments. We print on the first Friday of each month, but web content is constantly being added.
The Clinton Post started out as an after-school club for Clinton middle schoolers. When Clinton expanded into a high school, so did the newspaper. Our newspaper grew from printing three or four times a year to printing almost every month, and our paper size went from 8×11 to 11×17 (making it more of a newspaper format. We also use InDesign, Adobe’s cutting-edge layout program. Clinton is not finished expanding, and neither is the newspaper. In the next couple of years, we hope to develop our team further and grow our photography department. We also plan to reach out to local businesses to take out advertisements in the paper. With the Clinton community’s help, we, like Clinton, can be “better all of the time.”
